Costs of a private jet

Privatjet

We often receive enquiries regarding the price of a charter flight. However, this question cannot be answered straight away, as it depends on many factors.

Costs for private jets
First and foremost, we never give ‘hypothetical’ answers, as these can be far removed from reality.

We contact actual operators, check their availability, have the positioning costs calculated, and take into account empty legs as well as all other expenses such as catering and administrative costs. Everything is included in our prices, with the exception of de-icing, which is required in rare cases depending on the season – however, this is the only item that will be charged additionally if required.

The number of passengers also plays an important role.

When you make an enquiry, we seek a ‘specific’ quotation and provide you with several options to choose from. Upon request, we usually provide photographs, the year of manufacture (YOM) of the jet, the jet’s origin and the number of seats. Naturally, the price is not per seat – sometimes only two people opt for a transatlantic flight. However, if additional passengers are added, the operators charge a surcharge to cover catering and service costs.

The jet’s country of origin is very important. This affects not only the positioning (the cost of transporting the jet to the desired location) but also the quality of the service.

We naturally try to avoid stereotypes and racist attitudes – there are good people all over the world who love their jobs. But the quality standards of German, French or Turkish operators differ, and we must be aware of this. Every operator brings their own touch, their own style and their own passion to the table.

To be honest: as brokers, we have ‘blacklists’ of operators with whom we avoid working. Whilst these may be extremely cheap, the quality is so poor that we do not want to put our reputation at risk.

Our company is based in Germany, but we work with operators worldwide and offer our services in several languages (including Russian).

We value quality and attention to detail. In this consumer-driven world, we want our clients to feel love, support and genuine joy.

Catering is usually included in the price of the charter.
The organiser is responsible for arranging a high-quality service in this regard. If we choose a ‘greedy’ organiser, they will cut corners on the catering costs. However, we always want to ensure that the customer truly enjoys their trip.

We do not expect last-minute airport food, but rather the high-quality fare of a VIP restaurant.

For this reason, we always ask the customer about their catering preferences at the time of booking and order something that meets these requirements exactly, to ensure not only that the quality is right, but also that a good selection is offered.

As intermediaries, we take care of many ‘invisible details’ to prioritise our customers’ comfort and safety.

Please feel free to share any questions or concerns you may have; I’ll be happy to assist you.
